A Bipolar Life

Life is great, isn’t it

I’ve spent more money than I should.
But then again, I feel so good.
I must have this, please don’t complain.
The one at home is really plain.

Life is sweet and I’m so strong.
There’s nothing now that can go wrong.
I must have all I can, today.
Tomorrow all might slip away.

I’m right again. You may be sure.
Gone quicker now than the time before.
No. Life’s not sweet and I’m not strong.
All I ever do goes wrong.

Oh, sweet siren, with luring song.
Remove me from this torturing prong.
No sole can understand my plight.
And me, so weary from the fight.

Something tells me, not this time.
Well, you know, life can be fine.
If only people understood.
I’d be all right, I know I would.

Bipolar

A lifelong emotional switchback

Thank you Mr Stephen Fry
for the guts it took to make the recent documentary about your battle with Bipolar Disorder.

It was an eye opener to hear that many folk who suffer this problem, given the choice, wouldn't change their condition.
